Ferrari has just released some sketches of the new Ferrari 296 GT3 which will make its debut in 2023 and replace the most successful Ferrari in Maranello's history, the 488 GT3, wining 107 titles, with 429 victories out of 770 starts.

Ferrari’s new GT racing car is based on the 296 GTB which draws design inspirations from legendary Ferraris such as the 1963 250 LM, but has been redefined with an extreme aerodynamic design to be competitive on circuits around the world. However, the 296 GT3 will not be fitted with the production model's turbocharged V6 hybrid engine to comply with technical regulations.

Although it is designed entirely in-house at Ferrari, the model is being assembled at ORECA in Signes (France), and "will begin development on the track in the coming months in view of its race debut, scheduled for 2023," said Ferrari.

The 296 GT3 isn’t the only model Ferrari is working on, as the brand is planning to roll out its new Le Mans Hypercar at its private Fiorano test track in June.
