New spy shots suggest what the body of the Ferrari Purosangue might look like
A few days ago, Ferrari continued testing its upcoming SUV, the so-called Purosangue, in Maranello. This time, we're not looking at an early test mule for the new Ferrari Purosangue, as most others were captured using the bodies of the GTC4Lusso or Maserati Levante to hide its underpinnings.

Although the heavily-camouflaged prototype hides the design of the vehicle, Ferrari’s first SUV is making its final steps. The Purosangue appears to have four doors, a low roofline, and sleek headlights inspired by the Roma. The new spy shots also indicates that Ferrari is currently testing a pair of air outlets positioned on the front hood. It’s really hard to decode the rest of the design, Ferrari is doing a great job at keeping the design a secret.
We know the car will have the same front mid-engine architecture as the Ferrari Roma coupe, a powerful V12 engine that might develop around 800 horsepower and accompanied by other powertrains derived from the hybrid V8 of the SF90 Stradale or the hybrid V6 of the 296 GTB, to come equipped with an all-wheel drive, and to provide space for four passengers.
Since its announcement by Ferrari back in 2018, the Purosangue has been spotted testing with multiple bodyworks to deceive competitors. However, the recent spy shots indicate that we’re getting closer to its launching next year in 2022.
Stay tuned.
