The Italian luxury sports car manufacturer has unveiled its first-ever four-door car to the world, the highly anticipated Ferrari Purosangue, taking SUV sportiness and performance to the next level and opening a new chapter for the brand.

Sculpted by Ferrari Design Director Flavio Manzoni and his team, the pure design of the Ferrari Purosangue retains the unmistakable Ferrari DNA, offering a magnificent blend of exceptional performance, form and function. It has a super sports car soul with the functionality and versatility of an SUV that will guarantee an unprecedented comfortable driving experience.

The Ferrari Design Centre has worked in synergy with engineering when conceiving the Purosangue to deliver effective aerodynamic solutions, while creating harmonious proportions and volumes.

Apart from powerful and elegant forms and curvaceous lines, a closer look at the Purosangue's design shows features that seem typical of the brand's recent model design language. The long, low nose is characterized by C-shaped LED daytime running lights, and has a large grille and air intakes. On the other hand, the rear fascia has taillights similar to those of the 296 GTB with a full-width connecting LED lightbar, joined by quad exhausts outlets toward the bottom of the bumper.

The interior of the Purosangue is unique as it is the only current Ferrari to offer a spacious and comfortable room for four drivers which is equipped with all necessary amenities, and the rear doors are said to facilitate access to the rear seat.

In terms of performance, the Purosangue is equipped with Ferrari's legendary naturally-aspirated 715 hp 6.5-liter V12 that revs to 8250 rpm and is connected to the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It hit 62 mph in just 3.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 192 mph. It sets itself apart from competitors such as the Aston Martin DBX and the Lamborghini Urus which use turbocharged V8s. The new model features an all-wheel drive powertrain.

Deliveries of the Purosangue will start in 2023 with a $400,000 starting price.
