Ferrari’s Monza SP1 and SP2 steal the show at 2021 Monterey Car Week

Introduced to the public in 2018 at the Paris Motor Show, the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 pay homage to the speedsters of the 1950s, and are part of a new concept known as 'Icona'. Both are equipped with the naturally aspirated V12 from the 812 Superfast, with a massive output of 799 horsepower at 8,500 rpm.

Ferrari only built 500 units which split between the SP1 and SP2, letting owners customize each element of their car for a perfect fit. More than 30 Monzas gathered at Laguna Seca during the Monterey Car Week, and most specs are worthy of attention. Browsing through the photos included down below, you get a glimpse of the configurations, some are finished in soft colors and others with more striking colors. Most feature historic racing stripes and heritage style liveries that reminds us of Ferrari’s golden era.

Ferrari's Monza SP1 and SP2 are entirely open-topped and use a revolutionary virtual windshield that helps aerodynamics, while hitting 124 mph in only 8 seconds. The firsts of five Icona models that will be coming in the future!
